Why "Hala Beacon"?

I chose a welcoming title for my blog, not only for you, but for my hesitant guest who's afraid to walk into my home through my wide open door. My guest is not a stranger, but feels forgotten. My guest loves good humor, warm embraces, to be in a crowd, with a close friend or simply just alone. My guest is a dreamer, a builder, a wholehearted lover. My guest rides magic carpets, hums "I'll never grow up" like peter pan. Receives the morning sun with an even brighter smile. Can Enjoy the quiet of the night as well as dancing with the stars in smoky places. My guest loves life, cradles pain, colors reality blocks for little children, hops into a red cross van to give comfort to a rushed sick neighbor. My guest gets strength from causes, humane and homeland injustice. Climbs tree trunks, eats unwashed fruits picked from drooping branches. My guest snickers at the mayhem of love, challenges the heartbreak that comes with it...
My guest is broken. Won't limp into my house. My guest is waiting to recover, to walk in tall with a beacon in hand.

In all that you say, your guest is actually....love. As you are.
